What outcome is needed? Which people need to be involved? What process is needed?

Penny Walker

Associate Facilitator, Trainer, Consultant

Penny specialises in learning and change for sustainable development. She designs workshops and meetings which enable people to have the conversations they need, to deliver the objectives of the process. The objectives might be to reach decisions and agreements, to develop an improved understanding of people’s experience and perspectives, individual learning outcomes or stronger relationships.

Penny’s first career was as a campaigner with Friends of the Earth, where she ran campaigns and managed the team of people who support and build capacity amongst FOE’s activist membership. In 1996 she became an independent consultant, helping people to build their own capacity to understand and respond to the challenges of sustainable development.
