The time, expertise and opinions of stakeholders are valuable resources and must only be drawn upon prudently and respectfully. 3KQ therefore only undertakes projects which we consider to be serious attempts to engage stakeholders to inform decision-making. We ask:
Seriously intended? ...is the client or sponsor open to change?
Meaningful? ... how relevant is the engagement, given its context and scope?
Respectful? ... is this the best way of using limited stakeholder resources?
We apply these questions as a filter for work we accept or decline, as well as using it as a framework to improve potential projects and deliver maximum value for both clients and stakeholders.
Note that where a client breaches this agreed ethical code 3KQ will consider withdrawing from a project. During the 07-08 financial year we declined around £70,000 worth of business.
